The challenge is, what are you going to do from here." Make some suggestions on what to do next. Invite them to look for upcoming articles on this topic or related topics. Finally: It is important that you edit your article for spelling and grammar, but most importantly, key words and phrases and their positions in the article. Create Meta tags for that article so that you can have them when that page is added to your website. Add the content to your website and have it on your site for about a week before you publish the article. The reason you want to do this is to establish that your site had the content first.

But I'm more concerned with those of you who are not so knowledgeable at working an online business successfully. You are the ones who need some encouragement and step-by-step instructions.

Now, I'm not trying to make anyone believe that Passion is the only thing necessary. Because to be successful you must also have a good website, good marketing, widespread advertising, company support, effective keywords, etc... no question about it. Those things are often learned from the company you join - but if you choose to sidestep the Passion then you significantly reduce your chances for success dramatically because it is the Passion that translates into the other things previously mentioned.

It therefore follows that, if you have no Passion for the company and the products and services provided by that company, again, you won't attempt to do the work you are being taught. Why would you if you are not excited about it?

Internet marketing work is typically not all that difficult or time consuming but it does take motivation caused by Passion to get you off and running with a sustained effort so that you won't stumble. You have a great resource in the Internet search engines to search about the Internet Marketing industry for business opportunities, MAKE USE OF IT!

Your investigation should uncover a company that you like and have confidence in. It should be solid, founded on great principles, and easy to understand and comprehend with great products and services that are sell-able for which you can have Passion. Hire your kids instead of paying them an allowance!

If you have a business based in your home you can hire your kids to vacuum, dust and take out the trash. As a business you can write off the costs of janitorial service.

The expense is tax-deductible to you, and the income is tax-free to them. The tax-free limit is $5,450 for 2008. The amount is equal to the 'Standard Deduction.

A limitation is that they must be at least 6 years of age.

And, if they are family members under 18, they are exempt from payroll taxes and the business is not required to withhold or to pay Social Security and Medicare taxes.

A formal Employment Contract should be used when you hire family members in order to audit proof this part of your home business deductions.

The IRS stipulates that the wage-rate has to be "reasonable and customary" within your industry and region of the country for the type of work being performed in order to qualify.

So you cannot pay your kids $100 an hour for taking out the trash. How do you establish what is "reasonable and customary?" Get an outside company to give you a written estimate for the work to be performed, and then pay your family member approximately that amount. Or determine what a reasonable person might pay an employee or outside contractor for such services, and pay a similar wage to your family member.

The kids (as employees) have to document what they did to earn the money, so have them fill out a simple "work log" with headings like:

Date they worked Type of work performed Amount of time spent working Hourly rate you paid them

After they turn-in their 'work log,' you then pay them by check.

In order for you to deduct the wages your children earn as a business expense the law requires that you actually pay them but the law does not restrict how that money is used after it's paid.

In 2008 you can pay your children $5,450 which is equivalent to $104.80 per week.

Pay your kid $104.80 a week in allowance??? No way you say. Not so fast. Let's look at why you might be better off paying your children rather than just giving them an allowance.

So let's presume you have come up with the tax-free limit of $104.80 per week in home-business related "chores" for them to do. At the end of the week they will turn in their 'work log' and you'll pay them by check.

You will have to open a separate checking account for them to deposit and cash payroll checks. Of course you will deposit every weeks $104.80 paycheck into that account. Make sure its an interest-bearing account.

The bank will require it to be a "joint account" with you, since they are minors. Although it is technically a "joint" account, only you will be authorized to make withdrawals or to write checks on that account, since the child is a minor.

Then you tell your child, "I will withdraw $10 (for example) out of each weeks pay for you to spend any way you wish, however, the other $94.80 will stay in the (interest-bearing) account to be used by you to pay for your________."

The blank can be filled in with words like graduation trip, car, wedding...whatever you like.

Using pre-tax dollars for school supplies and tennis shoes, or pay for cars, trips and weddings saves money out of your budget for such things. Unbelievable!
