What Is SAP R/3 and A Guide To SAP Implementation

By Terry Price

From it's origins in Walldorf, Germany in 1972, SAP has bloomed speedily to the present state of having 44,500 installations in one hundred twenty nations with a monumental ten million users. Five ex-IBM engineers convened to brainstorm and as great engineers enjoy the process of "dreaming up" and developing the dream into a applied and operational concept, they made and shaped SAP. Established in Germany it of course was granted the Germanic name, Systeme, Andwendungen, Produkte in der Datenverarbeitung. To save you the strain of trying to pronounce that if you have zero German language power, the English translation is Systems, Applications, Products in Data Processing.

SAP AG has developed to become the third largest software maker in creation not only in it's native Germany, but universal. The reason for it's burgeoning success is instantly attributable to the foundation of SAP R/2 in 1979. This introductory integrated, enterprise wide software application was an overnight success. SAP R2 works on mainframes and went on to penetrate the majority of important businesses in Germany. With expansion into other European organisations the founders established the growing popularity of client-server architecture.

SAP recognise and responded to that market with the development and publish of SAP R/3 in 1992. This stunning programme was welcomed with open arms by the business community. SAP R/3 grew into an unprecedented success peculiarly after expanding into the North American market starting in 1988.

Five yrs afterwards SAP R/3 had grown from zero to 44% of all SAP sales worldwide. Presently SAP America has 3,000 employees and can set claim to having some of the Fortune 500 companies as clients. We could present a laundry list of recognizable names including 7 of the upper 10 pharmaceutical companies and 8 of the upper ten semiconductor organisations.

The meaning of the numbers is promptly understandable by yet the most uninitiated in business concepts. It's popularity results from the power to not just be a brilliant application merely to it's versatility and adaptability to a large variety of businesses. 1 good instance is the MIT implementation of modules in Finance/Accounting, Controlling, Project System, Funds Management, Materials Management and Sales Distribution.

Suppose for example, a international construction materials company developing an estimate on a major building renovation. Imagine the process needed in putting together total of material involved, man-hours essential to produce the custom-made pieces, cost variables, shipping times, assembly time for the on-site work, etc. In The End, guess a curriculum that can set it all unitedly and deliver to you an estimate of projected cost and approximate date of completion. The value of getting that efficacy at your fingertips is beyond imagination. Since the old adage of "time is money" is peculiarly true in these modern times, SAP R/3 is evidently valuable.

Numerous educational institutions are responding to the need for SAP educated students to diagnose, select and apply the modules which would well assist a organisation. An organization gets SAP R/3 buying decisions by picking out modules which will best serve their particular demands. The integration and bringing to all functionality is a operation that must evolve over time. Numerous programmes can be fully implemented within 18 mths while numerous large organisation need a ten year dedication. Of course, parts of the full scale SAP R/3 software grew useful within a average length of time.

At this time some smaller organisations are finding the parts of the SAP R/3 software programmes which are applicable to their necessities. Each implementation outcomes in accumulated success for the business owner plus future development prospective for SAP R/3.

The advance SAP technology enables R/3 to handle business management operations throughout all the divisions of the organization. Whatsoever change in the organisational structure can be easily pondered by the SAP technology, and it provides space for the expansion. Both decentralization and centralization of processes can be complete efficiently if the company has installed SAP software. Irrespective of the size of the business, SAP aids the company to organize all its business activities.

Components of SAP

Equally with whatsoever software system, SAP has a primary system addressed as the kernel. This is the engine of the whole R/3 system reliable for carrying out every last functionalities. The screen interpreter checks user input and displays error messages. This takes the input fed to the system and transfers the input to the ABAP/4 interpreter. This interpreter executes the instructions written in ABAP/4 programming language which was used to develop SAP. The SAP system also has a data dictionary for storing all types of definitions used in various modules. Flow control is handled by as a separate component which maintains perfect data flow inside the system. Interfaces connect the software with the outside environment enabling communication between the user and the system.

Modules of SAP

For any business, logistics, accounting, and human resources are the three essential departments carrying out the entire business process. SAP has separate modules for each of these departments and these modules help the organization to execute the business management tasks. SAP enables customization, making the software suitable for any organizing doing any type of business.

Logistic modules

The business processes like sales and distribution handling (SD), material management (MM), production planning (PP), plant maintenance (PM), and quality management (QM) are taken care of by logistic modules. Any organization will require most of these modules if not all. Materials used for production are handled by the MM module. PP and PM modules ensure that the production process works as required. QM module is used to handle quality assurance of the product. The ultimate aim of any organization is to sell its products and hence, SD module is an important module in the SAP system.

Any department can get access to these data and this module makes the updated data available throughout the system. The personnel planning and development (PD) module incorporates all that is essential for managing the man power of the organization.

SEO and Backlink Building

By Justin Harrison

Backlinks can help raise your site from the bottom on the barrel to the top of the search engine list. This kind of feat takes more than just good SEO tactics on your site. It takes a few quality backlinks from others.

Backlinks are links from other websites or blogs that link to your website. Some good backlinks will do more than anything you do on your own site.

When using search engines such as Google, Yahoo, or MSN, when someone chooses to link to your site it is as if they have voted for your site. Someone valued your content enough to link to your site, thus it must be important. The more people there are visiting your site, the more obviously important it is.

The anchor text takes priority over the quantity of links to your site. An anchor text is the text which you can see and click on for a text link. A search engine can locate your anchor text and utilize it to determine the nature of your site.

This is the reason that you need to anchor text of links that are incoming to the top keywords when you can. Now that you know why backlinks are critical, let's discover some ways to make them happen.

People will be more likely to embed links to your site if they find it useful, interesting, and one-of-a-kind. Therefore, you should try to offer unique and controversial conent. Remember, offering well-maintained material that isn't available elsewhere on the web is key to getting links!

When other company's approach you to join your site, allow them to, because this way you not only expose your company to potential customers, you can help other company's as well.

Submitting your written articles to directories will allow them to be reprinted on other sites with a link to you in the Resource Box. Just one article could result in many backlinks. Alternatively, you could try personally contacting your niche sites and offer to write a recurring column. Another option is to arrange a trade system in which each site writes for the other, providing backlinks to each other.

Do it yourself Optimization

By Brent Sweet

There are several strategies that can be used to get to the top of Google. It is actually much easier that many would believe. It is simply amazing how many sites are ranked where they are by luck, very few are ranked for keywords because they are trying to be. The purpose of this writing is to give you things you can work on to directly affect your rankings.

The real point here is though there are several factors that can improve your rankings, you have to focus on what you can control. Focusing on things that you do not control is a waste of time. If you have ever heard of six sigma you would be aware of this philosophy.

So what is in your control?

- The title of your page. This is probably the most influencing factor. Pick 5 phrases you want to rank for. Word them in a manner that you don't repeat words but makes sense. Try to use less than 9 words.

- The text in your body. Use each phrase that you want to rank for in the body. I don't really care if it is in H1 tags or in Bold. I don't think those carry that much weight. When you want to get from position 2 to 1, maybe, but bold and h1 is not the difference between the 100th position and the first page.

- The filenames you use are important. Do not put things like sessions or log tail URLS in your file names. This causes the engines to index your pages seperately which hurts rankings.

- The links to your site. Yes you have control over how people link to you. One way is to create or buy link bait. This is something that people will want to link to. Can be like a top 10 list. Real creative things get more links. I am not creative so I submit articles. This way I have full control over how people link to me and I get a lot of free one way links.

There you go, 4 things in your control. If you want to improve your rankings, work on these 4 things always. They are how you get to the top and what is in your control.

The truth about how Internet Marketing actually works

By Manu Romero

The Internet revolution has caused a great boom and changed the way of doing business. Not only the big companies have used this powerful tool for distribution, but also small home based business had the chance to become big business. Since then and for the first time, anybody with or without experience, was able to start a business and operate it from the comfort of their home.

This has result in a big boom of stay at home moms and an easy way for many others to supplement their income. And of course, there is been those who call themselves the "gurus" of the Internet marketing. These are the guys that try to sell you strategies and techniques that you can only learn if you join in their teams. Many people buy's these subscriptions and that's how the gurus become gurus and rich.

Now, a new revolutionary tool called MLM Lead System Pro is been offered to you at an affordable price that anyone can pay, and THAT is really something. MLM Lead System Pro is an educational tool that will show you the steps on how to become successful using one single strategy "self branding". You see, there no magic secret behind the gurus success.

They would want you to believe that they learned Internet marketing before they could walk, and by age 5 they made their first million. That's totally absurd, bologna and many other things. But the real truth is that they struggled at the beginning just like you, until they achieved the best asset in this business, a list of costumers.

Aside from a good product, the secret to Internet success is a base of customers that you have built a relationship with. Once you have established a positive relationship with a customer, two things happen: 1) they know they can trust you, and 2) they know you represent a good product. Trust is absolutely 100% necessary on the Internet. Build trust and you will succeed.

How do you build trust? Simple (and you'll see more about this in MLM Lead System Pro), basic funnel system. It all starts with a low cost ($1 or even free) front end product. The customer takes advantage of the deal in exchange for a little information (name and email address, usually). You take that information and put it into an autoresponder. Offer him deals on other items you may have around and eventually get around to your prime product, the one that pays the bills for you.

If you gain the trust and confidence of a costumer, it will probably follow you and buy from you over and over again. And the most important, is that this prospect in average will tell between of three to five other people about you and the products you are selling. Are you starting to see the possibilities that this system can bring to your business?

And you got all this from a lead generation system that didn't cost you a lot of money and worked in your best interest all the time. Or you could try other techniques, like PPC, but let's face it ? the kind of money we pay for PPC or banner ads is an expensive risk for most of us.

If you follow MLM Lead System Pro, success could be a just few clicks away; and those few clicks will cost less, too.

Dell Inspiron 518 - The Perfect Desktop for Everyday Use

By Matt Ryan

Dells extensive desktop family now includes the new Inspiron 518. Backed by the Dell name, quality, and power, this mini tower desktop provides high performance for any type of user. With a shiny black casing and beautiful chrome accents, this desktop can make any office or room look a bit more exotic. The Inspirons budget, along with functionality, is geared a bit more towards families and students than those techy individuals out there.

Like any Dell, you can custom build this desktop. Without any upgrades or additions, the standard mini tower starts at $329. Other manufacturers offer similar desktops for a little less money; however, the Inspiron is back by the Dell name along with superb support for the first year.

So, the bare-bone technical specs for the Inspiron 518 include a 2.5GHz Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 CPU, 2GB 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM, 256MB ATI Radeon HD 3450 graphics card, 320GB 5,400rpm hard drive, dual-layer DVD burner, and gigabit Ethernet for fast network connectivity. Regardless of how many extras you add to the Inspiron 518, it will still come with the 32-bit version of Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 as your operating system.

Dell does not yet support the 64-bit operating systems; therefore, this machine does not have the basic necessities to run a 64-bit version. There are additional memory slots, inside the box, allowing consumers to upgrade the system themselves. If you are planning to upgrade to Windows 7, you will have to take these steps.

The overall design, of the Insprion 518, is quite sleek and easy on the eyes. Dell did not stop with the overall appearance; they actually added a tray, to the top of the mini tower, for easy storage of small plug-n-play devices. Additionally, there were two USB 2.0 ports added, near the tray, to allow users to conveniently charge and connect with these devices.

Dell provides consumers with friendly interfaces and easy navigation. To increase the user experience, they have now added what is called the Dell Dock. Similar to Vistas sidebar, you can customize this dock to hold icons for your favorite applications and files. This gives you easy one-click access to those things you use most. You can customize where the dock appears, on your desktop, along with the option to completely shut it off.

The Dell Inspiron 518 does not offer consumers the option to add a Blu-ray optical drive. Depending what you had in mind for the desktop, this may not be a hindrance at all. The graphics card, which comes with the system, is a bit on the low end as well. Unlike other Dell machines, there is no option to upgrade this feature upon customizing your build. The graphics card that comes with the Inspiron 518 is decent, but is not a high-end card for gaming.

This feature packed, high performance, desktop is a great buy for a family or student computer. It is the perfect model for everyday use. Whether you are doing standard Office work or using the system as a media hub, the Inspiron is a good purchase.

Efficiency and Convenience in One - Samsung SyncMaster 2263DX

By Matt Ryan

Many people, both personally and professionally use dual monitors when computing. This concept has been around since the 90s and is becoming more commonly used. There is; however, a new approach to this concept that could make some lives easier or at least less cluttered.

Samsung has recently released the SyncMaster 2263DX, which just might solve some of the special issues of dual monitoring. This system is a combination of a 22" and 7" monitor. The 7-inch monitor actually attaches to the 22" monitor. This gives consumers two monitors that only take up the space of one, with the added bonus of using the small unit for secondary applications only (applications like web browsing, video, or instant messaging).

The primary monitor, 22-inch, has a resolution of 1680 x 1050, a response time of 5mx, and a contrast ration of 1000:1. If you know your monitors, you know this is an average monitor. The big difference with this monitor, from single units, is the fact that you must connect it with a USB port along with a DVI, HDMI, or VGA cable.

The secondary monitor, 7-inch, was intentionally designed as such. With a resolution of 800 x 480, response time of 30ms, and contrast ratio of 400:1, this monitor is best used with smaller applications like instant messaging or video conferencing.

Through the use of a swivel arm, the smaller monitor is attached to the larger one on either the left or right side, or even on the top. The smaller unit is flexible in its position as users can rotate the unit to their desired position. The unit can also be manipulated to stay in either landscape or portrait layout.

The dual monitoring experience, that the SyncMaster 2263DX offers, is phenomenal. However, it does not stop with pure efficiency and spaciousness. The smaller monitor can actually be used as a secondary portable monitor for a laptop, or even a standalone unit on your desk. You do not have to use it as an attachment to the 22-inch monitor that it comes with.

The Syncmaster 2263DX not only offers a functional dual monitoring setup for small offices, but provides a solid platform for teleconferencing as well. There is a 3.0M webcam, 1.5W down firing speakers, and a microphone - all built right into the monitor itself. The secondary monitor, the 7-inch one, is perfect for the video aspect of a teleconference.

This unit sells for around $550. While this is a bit pricey compared to a standard 22-inch monitor, there is additional functionality and convenience in the SyncMaster 2263DX.

The bottom line is whether you are looking for space saver technology or budget friendly answers. If you have the space, purchasing two monitors is obviously the way to go. If your desk space is slim, you may just have to spend the extra cash. If you are into toys, and just need to have the latest and greatest, the Samsung SyncMaster 2263DX is a must have.

Discussing Computer Training

By Scott Edwards

Finding the right training course to match commercial requirements is crucially important in our turbulent times. But it's just as crucial to find one that you will get on well with, that fits your character and ability level. There's lots to choose from with these training programs - right from office user skills up to training for programmers, web designers, networkers etc. Take advice before you jump in with two feet - talk to an advisor with experience of the IT world. Somebody who you trust to select the right career path for you - one that's both commercially relevant and leads to a job you'll love. Modern training techniques at last enable students to be instructed on a new style of course, that costs far less than more outdated courses. The low overhead structure of the new courses means anyone can afford them.

At times individuals don't catch on to what IT can do for us. It is stimulating, innovative, and means you're doing your bit in the gigantic wave of technology affecting everyones lives in the 21st century. We're only just starting to get to grips with how all this will mould and change our lives. How we interact with the world will be significantly affected by technology and the internet. And don't forget that the average salary in IT in Great Britain is significantly better than in other market sectors, so in general you'll probably earn much more with professional IT knowledge than you would in most typical jobs. As the IT industry keeps growing with no sign of a slow-down, the chances are that the requirement for well trained and qualified IT technicians will flourish for years to come.

How do we arrive at a good choice then? With so many opportunities, it's imperative to understand where to search - and what we should be searching for.

Potential trainees eager to begin a career in IT often don't know what direction is best, or even which market to get qualified in. How can we possibly grasp the day-to-day realities of any IT job when it's an alien environment to us? We normally don't even know anybody who works in that sector anyway. Generally, the way to deal with this question in the best manner comes from a thorough conversation around some important points: Your personal interests and hobbies - these often show the possibilities will satisfy you; What sort of time-frame do you want for the retraining, and what priority do you place on job satisfaction vs salary; With so many areas to train for in computing - it's wise to pick up a basic understanding of what makes them different; together with having a serious look into the effort, commitment and time you can give. For the majority of us, getting to the bottom of these areas will require meeting with a professional who has direct industry experience. And we're not only talking about the certifications - but also the commercial requirements of industry too.

One thing you must always insist on is 24x7 round-the-clock support from professional mentors and instructors. It's an all too common story to find providers that only provide office hours (or extended office hours) support. Many only provide email support (too slow), and telephone support is usually to a call-centre who will just take down the issue and email it over to their technical team - who will then call back sometime over the next 24hrs, at a suitable time to them. This is not a lot of use if you're sitting there confused over an issue and can only study at specific times. The best trainers have many support offices active in different time-zones. They use an online interactive interface to seamlessly link them all; irrespective of the time you login - there is always help at hand avoiding all the delays and problems. Never make do with a lower level of service. Online 24x7 support is the only kind that ever makes the grade with IT learning. Perhaps you don't intend to study during the evenings; often though, we're working at the time when most support is available.

Most trainers typically provide a bunch of books and manuals. This can be very boring and not a very good way of taking things in. Where we can study while utilising as many senses as possible, then we often see hugely increased memory retention as a result. Modern training can now be done at home via easy-to-use DVD or CD ROM's. By watching and listening to instructors on video tutorials you'll find things easier to remember through the expert demonstrations. Then you test your knowledge by using practice-lab's. Any company that you're considering should be able to show you a few examples of their courseware. You should hope for instructor-led videos and a variety of interactive modules. It's unwise to opt for on-line only training. With highly variable reliability and quality from the ISP (internet service provider) market, you should always obtain physical media such as CD or DVD ROM's.

Students often end up having issues because of one aspect of their training very rarely considered: The method used to 'segment' the courseware before being packaged off through the post. Often, you will join a program requiring 1-3 years study and get sent one module each time you pass an exam. This may seem sensible until you think about these factors: What if you don't finish all the sections or exams? And what if the order provided doesn't meet your requirements? Through no fault of your own, you might take a little longer and not receive all the modules you've paid for. The ideal circumstances are to get all the learning modules couriered to your home before you even start; the entire thing! Thus avoiding any future problems that could impede your progress.

The right sort of package of training will undoubtedly have accredited exam simulation and preparation packages. As the majority of IT examination boards are American, you must be prepared for the way exams are phrased. It's not sufficient simply going through the right questions - they must be in an exam format that exactly replicates the real thing. Be sure to have some simulated exam questions so you can check your knowledge at all times. Practice or 'mock' exams will help to boost your attitude - then you won't be quite so nervous at the actual exam.

The sometimes daunting task of landing your first job can be eased by some training providers because they offer a Job Placement Assistance service. The need for this feature can be bigged up out of proportion though - it's quite easy for companies marketing departments to make too much of it. Ultimately, the huge shortage of staff in Britain is what will enable you to get a job. Work on polishing up your CV right away however (advice and support for this should come from your course provider). Don't put it off until you've qualified. It's not unusual to find that you will be offered your first job while you're still a student (occasionally right at the beginning). If your CV doesn't say what you're learning (and it hasn't been posted on jobsites) then you don't stand a chance! The best services to help get you placed are normally local IT focused employment agencies. Because they get paid commission to place you, they're perhaps more focused on results. To bottom line it, as long as you put the same commitment into finding a job as into training, you won't have any problems. A number of men and women bizarrely spend hundreds of hours on their course materials and then call a halt once qualified and would appear to think that businesses will just discover them.

Take Surveys Get Paid - What Are Paid Surveys?

By Amber Vaughn

Have you heard the buzz about paid surveys? They have been around for a long time, but recently have become a quite popular way of making extra cash at home. If you are hoping to take surveys and get paid, there are a few things you should know before you get started. Read on to learn the facts about paid surveys and how to find legitimate paid survey opportunities while avoiding scams.

Paid surveys are one way that big companies (like Nike, WalMart, Coca Cola and others) get feedback on their new and existing products. It works like this - these companies need honest opinions on their products from ordinary consumers and they are willing to pay you for your time. Paid surveys are usually run through market research comapnies who manage the surveys and keep a list of survey takers on hand to match with these projects.

To get started taking paid surveys, you will first need to join up with market research companies who are looking for paid survey takers. You will need to fill out a form to register and provide demographic information that is used to match you with available surveys. Be sure to fill out all of the required information to increase your chances of getting more paid survey offers.

As you search for paid surveys to take, you will find a number of paid survey directories that sell memberships to their list of market research companies. These directories can be helpful in finding more companies to register with while avoiding rogue sites. Many of these directories are well maintained by their owners, making them well worth the small membership fee that you pay to join. If you decide to join a directory, you will have many sites to join and won't have to waste any time finding companies who are looking for survey takers.

Hopefully it won't be long before you begin to receive paid survey offers. You will want to respond to these as soon as you can if you are interested in that survey because they sometimes expire or meet quotas and you don't want to miss out. Each survey will only take you 5 to 10 minutes each on average and they pay a few dollars each for your time. Most paid surveys you will receive are done entirely online although sometimes you will be sent a product to test and keep.

Taking surveys and getting paid is a fun and exciting way to make extra money in your spare time. You get to share your opinions and get paid for it too. While you will never get rich taking paid surveys, they are a great way to earn some extra cash.

Tip - For the fastest way to earn the most possible with paid surveys, you will want to become a member of a quality membership site like Make Money Taking Surveys. Learn more about this site and read feedback from other users, visit the Make Money Taking Surveys Review.

News Stories On Your Blogging Website

By Ian Pelham

One of the most exciting, yet controversial, aspects of blogging is the ability to blog things just as they happen. The blogosphere is an active part of the internet and there is the ability to blog almost instantaneously.

Unlike news delivered by these other media, news that appears on blogs does not have to travel through a series of editors and administrators before it reaches the public eye. This has some advantages, and some distinct disadvantages.

One example where blogs hit the media before the press took place during the bombing of a London subway in July 2005.

Pictures were taken of the passengers at the scene and within an hour, they had hit the press. Such first-person accounts were seen by blog readers everywhere in an uncensored and personal way.

The crisis felt really immediate to those who were reading it without the eyes of an editor on these raw pieces. The blogging was very personal to those who were reading it.

Blogging currently carries the potential of being a brand new form of journalism. It puts the power to shape the world in the hands of the average writer.

Many of the bloggers and cultural commentators feel that this new kind of journalism is actually a good thing. The dissemination of the news is bound to be more democratic.

It decentralizes the world of news and allows more voices to debate on the issues at hand. Others, however, are just as adamant about not having this as a method of news dissemination.

Unlike newspapers or television stations, few blogs have fact-checkers, and there is little attention paid to journalistic accountability on many blogs. This can lead to the rapid spread of misinformation, and more than one falsehood has taken the blogosphere by storm.

There are complicated issues around whether or not blogging news as it happens is an ethical thing. No matter where you stand on the issue, however, you are sure to agree that this is a fascinating new method that is destined to change the news industry.

If you are interested in blogging, consolidation, debt, and other financial topics are sure to appear in many of the blogs that you regularly read. Techniques to make and manage money are some of the most popular topics for bloggers to explore on the web, so it is little wonder that so many bloggers turn their attention to dealing with debt.

Falling into debt is all too easy, and getting out of debt can be very difficult for people who do not have a lot of financial expertise. For people who have a knack for dealing with finances, blogging about their insights and knowledge can be a great way to literally and figuratively share the wealth.

If youd like to blog about debt, savings, investment topics and consolidation issues, you have good reasons to have a successful blog on these topics. There are professional bloggers who earn money writing about money issues on blogs.

If you know all about load consolidation, negotiation of settlements with financial corporations or any other money topic, consider using what you know to be a successful blogger.

By taking the time to share your expertise on the subject, you may help readers learn about money and get out of debt while you are simply rewarded for helping others.

Avoid the Process at Home Rebate Processing Scam

By Jess Ray

The Process At Home program being sold by Angel Stevens is a rebate processing course for those looking to work from home. The work seems simple and legitimate enough, you are filling out what appears to be rebate forms for various services and companies online. You are presented with the notion that if you can type you can earn several hundred dollars a day. Now, this sort of earning potential does exist online, but I can assure you that it does not involve processing rebates. Allow me to elaborate...

As a Process At Home - rebate processor you are instructed to set up an account with Pay Pal, Pay Dot Com and various forms of free and paid advertising on the internet.

Step one is to pick a product and/or service in Pay Dot Com that you would like to market. Step two is to then choose a method in which to market that product, be it Google Pay Per Click, Blogger, EZine Articles or online classifieds ads. This advertising is what will lead consumers to the website of the product you chose to sell back on Pay Dot Com.

This is where the rebate comes into play. It is at this point that Process At Home instructs you to offer a rebate in your advertising with the idea that this will give you an edge and therefor generate a sale. But, the rebate is just a portion of your commission. Like I alluded to at the beginning, Process At Home has take the basic principles of affiliate marketing and added the rebate element to make their program appear different from the other affiliate marketing programs out there.

So, not only are you tricked into thinking that you will be employed and have a job as a rebate processor, you are left with poor training as well. Process At Home barely provides the education needed to generate sales with affiliate products. The fact that they are suggesting Google Pay Per Click, an expensive and very tricky from of online advertising is absurd. You can find equal if not better training for free from Commission Junction, another third party affiliate service available to online marketers.

As if this was not enough, Process At Home's entire program is based on a direct violation of the affiliate terms and services. It states clearly in the fine print of the user agreement you clicked yes to that you will in no way alter or manipulate the pricing of the products you are going to promote.

Last but not least is the rebate checks! Process At Home has you set up an account with Pay Pal for the sole purpose of processing these rebates. This means that you will need to monitor and time line of all your sales as well as any money back guarantees of each product. And what if a customer does not use Pay Pal, how are you going to issue the rebate? Write them a check?

At this point, you are probably saying, forget this. I want nothing to do with any of this B.S. I don't care if affiliate marketing is a real, legitimate job. I want to be able to just do a few hours of work on my computer and get paid.

Okay, that is a simple enough request, but there is a very important element that you must understand. No matter how many ads you see online telling you otherwise, very few work from home jobs exist in the sense that you may be seeking. And, even if you were able to land one of the highly sought after positions, you would still be self employed.

Jobs that allow you to work from home and hold a position as an employee or independent contractor usually involve some time traveling as well time in the corporate office. Other jobs include tasks like recruiting, copy writing and telemarketing. Many of these jobs are on a commission basis and are usually part time or temp positions.

* Customer Service Agent

* Reservation Specialist

*Paid Surveys

There are many more, these are just a few suggestions.

But, no matter what job title you choose to pursue, you are an independent contractor and are essentially working for yourself. You are responsible for meeting deadlines, organizing and prioritizing tasks and managing your time effectively. But just as important is knowing how to position yourself in front of those in need of your services.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but this means that you still need to learn how to market. Internet marketing is unavoidable if you want to be apart of the work from home industry. Now, marketing does not mean selling. Marketing simply means using various tools on the internet, paid and free, to promote you and your skills.

"Where do I learn to market on the internet?" There are many ways, paid and free, but buy with caution. I have found free information on the subject that is fantastic and I have also purchased information that wasn't worth ten cents. Do your research and buy wisely.

Free Xbox Games - A Guide to Finding Them

By Dan Gumble

If you are the lucky owner of an Xbox console and are sick of paying expensive retail prices for your games you have come to the right place. There are now free alternatives available to you. This article will discuss your options for obtaining free xbox games and evaluate which one is best for you.

Apart from going out and buying game disks, there's only one alternative, and that is for you to download free Xbox games. With regards to downloading games, there are two options available to you. You could choose to download from a torrent site, or you could be a little smarter than that, and join a download service instead.

Torrent websites can be very dangerous to the health and well being of your home PC. Downloads from these torrent sites come with dangerous viruses, spyware and malware. The risk just isn't worth when it comes to torrent sites. On the other hand, downloads from a membership download service are completely safe because the games are regulated by the service who provides these games.

The second big drawback with torrent sites is the fact that they are so slow. Downloads can take up to two weeks from torrent websites. This can be contrasted with a download services that offer absolutely lightning fast downloads. Anyone of your favourite games can be downloaded in just seconds from a top ranked download site.

The third big drawback with torrent websites is that more often than not you will get a "bad" download. These bad downloads include games that just don't work, poor quality games that will stop working while you are playing, or trial versions of the games that you would like to play. Trial versions are particularly frustrating because you may end up waiting up to two weeks to download a game and then once you get started you are prompted to pay more money to keep playing.

From one Xbox enthusiast to the next, I can assure you, joining a professional download service is the only real option you have if you want to have access to all the Xbox games, both old and new. Also, as a bonus, the top sites provide you with free access to tons of music as well as movies and TV shows.

Even those who are not very computer literate will find these download services easy to use with regards to free Xbox games, and of course if you're joining a good site, there'll be instructional videos to guide you, as well as customer support and a money-back guarantee.

Generally speaking, membership with a high ranking site should cost less than a single game would cost you if you bought it at a store. Additionally, the top sites also give you the option to try the site out without any obligation at all. Essentially, this means you can download free Xbox games and if you decide not to join up, you keep the games you've already downloaded without paying a cent.

What To Avoid When Yourre Starting Out

By Sam Ernie Orion

No matter how well versed you are in the brick and mortar business world, its a good idea to understand both the similarities and differences between that and the world of ecommerce. Remember that as the economy takes a downturn, more and more people are looking toward alternatives to the traditional model of doing business. However, while the Internet supplies some great ideas and is a great vehicle to make money, there are at least four mistakes that you want to avoid before you take the plunge into starting your own business.

Dont Rush

First and foremost, all the experts agree that you dont want to rush. Although compared to other enterprises an Internet business is cheaper, there are quite a few bad turns that you can take and some of these spiral. While its true that we all like to hear great success stories and how people have made great money online, you need to be careful and find out exactly how much work was involved. Take the time to look into exactly how this success was achieved before you envision yourself doing the same thing.

Think Like A Boss

Remember too that while the Internet affords great possibilities, theres also a tendency for people to slide into the employee frame of mind. That means that some people make the incorrect assumption having your own business means that they have more freedom and while thats true, you also need to in mind that although you can set your own hours you still need to work at them. Dont think like an employee when youre the boss.

Get The Right Tools

Many people starting a home based web business try to cut corners and get a quick template off the Internet rather than taking the time and investing the money to go to a professional web design company in Los Angeles or where ever they happen to be. That is always a mistake. Even if you wind up with a decent website, you need to market that site and compete for page rankings and you dont get those tools by cutting financial corners before you even start.

Theres a good living on the Internet, but you need to get the best tools and have the right aptitude to make the whole thing work for you. While the medium for business might change, the need for hard work stays the same.
